Our Mission
NRIs buying property from abroad face a real problem: finding and verifying the right property, then arranging legal support, loans, and CA services, then handling registration and handover, often through a different person for each step. NelaZo brings it together, with a dedicated advisor at every step.
Our Story
The name carries meaning: “Nela” means land, “Z” is the distance NRIs travel to get back to it, and “O” is coming full circle. For NRIs, home means more than the property itself. It’s family, memories, and the place they still call theirs.
Founders
NelaZo was founded by Shreyas M. Satyanarayana and Manjunath Vishwanath to give NRIs one platform for the whole property purchase: search, verification, legal, tax, and everything after handover, with a real advisor at each step.

An NRI based in the United States, Shreyas experienced firsthand how difficult it is to manage a property purchase back home from abroad: navigating agents, documentation, legalities, loans, and taxes remotely. That frustration became the spark for NelaZo: “Why should buying a home in your own country be so difficult just because you live somewhere else?”
Manjunath Vishwanath
Co-founder · India
Manjunath studied in Canada before returning to India to build a career in marketing, with a focus on business strategy and customer research. When Shreyas described the problem NRIs face buying property back home, Manjunath saw the gap and helped shape what NelaZo does and how it works.
Manjunath sets the strategic direction for NelaZo, shaped by first-hand experience of the gaps NRIs hit with property and services back home, and focused on building the trusted layer the market has been missing.
Advisory board
NelaZo is bringing on advisers who have run the systems buyers depend on. Names are announced as each seat is confirmed.

A former RERA official, on registration practice and buyer protection.
